A physical examination cannot tell us everything about the health of your pet. Diagnostic tools help give us a more complete picture of your pet's health.
- -In-house bloodwork and urinalysis
- -Outside reference laboratory for more specialized testing and biopsies
- -Digital x-ray with review by a board-certified radiologist when necessary
With our in-house diagnostic equipment, we have the ability to analyze blood and urine while you wait. Tests we can perform include complete blood count, blood chemistry, urinalysis, fecal flotation, heartworm test, feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus test, fructosamine, thyroid test, and more. If your pet requires more specialized testing, we will send it to our reference laboratory and results will generally be back within the week.
Our office offers both digital radiography and ultrasound. We can do a variety of studies including standard thorax, abdomen, or bone views. We an also do more specialized testing including Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) and PennHip evaluations. We offer a range of ultrasound services, from brief studies to comprehensive studies by a board-certified radiologist.
