It’s that time of year again—and we want to celebrate with you and your pets! We’re inviting all of our Mallard Creek families to join our Virtual Holiday Party by sending in a photo of your pet dressed and ready for the season. Simply email your festive pet picture to [email protected] All submitted photos will be featured on our social media pages, and every pet will be entered into our Annual Holiday Pet Contest. 📅 Please submit your entry by December 19th. Saturday Hours
We want to inform you that, beginning on November 30, 2024, Mallard Creek Animal Hospital will be closed every other Saturday. We understand that this may require some adjustment, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we implement this change.
In the event of an emergency, the Charlotte area offers several excellent urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics for your convenience. Rest assured, the health and well-being of your pets remain our top priority, and we are committed to providing the best possible care for your fur babies.

Prescription Policy
Your pet’s well being is our first priority. There are many pharmacy options for you to get your pet’s prescriptions. Our online store ships prescriptions straight to your house. If you would like us to fill your pet’s prescriptions or call them into a pharmacy we ask that you give us plenty of notice. Below are timelines for when prescriptions will be ready based on when they were called in.
- If called in before 10am Monday through Friday, the medications will be ready for pick up after 3pm. Or we will contact the owner by phone if there are any concerns before 3pm.
- If called in after 10am Monday through Thursday, the medications will be ready for pick up after 10am the next day. Or we will contact the owner by phone if there are any concerns before that time.
- If called in late Friday or Saturday, the prescription will not be ready until Monday.
- If called in before 10am Monday through Friday, the medications will be ready for pick up after 3pm. Or we will contact the owner by phone if there are any concerns before 3pm.
